These terms cover the use of tamilarasann.com and freelance services provided by Tamilarasan N, Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India (“I”, “me”). Each project also has its own written quote or agreement; if anything in that document differs from these terms, the project document wins.
Quotes and scope
Every project is quoted individually based on its requirements. A quote is fixed for the agreed scope and timeline. Work outside that scope is quoted separately before it starts.
Payments
Payment terms, milestones and currency (INR, USD, GBP or EUR) are set out in each quote. [Add your standard advance/milestone terms here, e.g. advance before start, balance before launch.] Retainers are billed monthly in advance; hourly work is billed [monthly / on completion].
Ownership
Once the project is paid in full, you own the website, custom code, content and design created for you. Domains, hosting and third-party accounts are registered in your name. Third-party themes, plugins and libraries remain under their own licences.
Your responsibilities
You agree to supply content, feedback and access on time, and to make sure the material you provide (text, images, logos) is yours to use. Delays in feedback or content may move the timeline.
Confidentiality
I keep your business information, logins and data confidential and use them only for your project. I may list your project in my portfolio unless you ask me not to.
Support and warranty
After launch I fix defects in the work I delivered for [30 days] at no charge. Ongoing updates, monitoring and changes are available under an optional care retainer.
Limitation of liability
I take care to deliver secure, working software, but I am not liable for losses caused by third-party services, hosting outages, plugin updates or changes made by others after handover. My total liability for any project is limited to the fees paid for that project.
Cancellation
Either side may end a project with written notice. You pay for work completed up to that point, and I hand over everything delivered so far.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, with courts in Chennai, Tamil Nadu having jurisdiction.
